A very nice oak savannah has been created at the southern end of this wood lot that will serve as an excellent hunting spot allowing you to look down into the deep hollows and observed deer as they work their way up and over a gentle saddle in the southwest corner.
Two feeders are located on the pipeline to lure deer out of the deep draws. One of the deep draws bisects the pipeline, and if you placed a box blind near the edge of it, you would have a half mile line of sight. There are a total of eight food plots with 17 acres planted in the spring and 8 acres planted in the fall. The owner has provided us with an outstanding set of trail camera pictures showing both large numbers and excellent quality bucks, wild turkeys and wild hogs. The bucks show some nice mass and lots of points. The wild turkeys have some impressive, long beards. The hogs come in ever size and color. There is a quarter acre pond near the entry that provides a constant source of water for wildlife.
