Historic School & Home

The Alango School - built in 1927 is now on the National Registry of Historic Places. Many updates and restorations have been done including the roof and much of the original woodwork inside and on the exterior of the building. The top level of the building - the teacherage, has been restored and most recently used as rental rooms. The gymnasium has been restored and features a stage offering plenty of room for gatherings of any sort. The original scoreboard is up and in working order, along with winding arm clock. Classrooms throughout have been brought back to life with with decor from the past. Also on site you will find the Principal's residence with detached garage and its own utilities.
