The Horse Creek Ranch, located 14 miles northwest of Newell, South Dakota, provides an excellent opportunity to own a productive, summer grazing ranch. The 7,924 acre ranch consists of 7,043.78 deeded acres, 400 BLM lease acres, and 480 homestead quarters acres in three parcels fenced into the property. Horse Creek, a seasonal creek, meanders north to south through the property. Additional livestock water is provided by a 3,200 foot deep well via pipelines and tanks located throughout the ranch. The owners have developed a grazing system on the ranch to enhance the productivity and variety of grasses which offers excellent grazing for yearlings or cow/calf pairs.
