The habitat in the area is a mix of scenic mountain land that is plentiful with acorns and various browse and native pastures in the surrounding area. This provides excellent habitat due to the ideal mix of cover and food. Black Bear are also plentiful in the area, this area is open to Oklahoma's annual Black Bear season.
