The sharp cottage features 1560 sq. ft on the main floor with 2 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The entire main floor was remodeled and updated in 2022. The living, kitchen, dining areas and the master bedroom all offer awesome lake views. A large deck awaits for a peaceful lake experience.

The laundry room with a utility sink is conveniently located on the main floor and the basement has a 30 x 14 finished family room/bedroom with an egress door. The remaining basement area is the mechanical and storage room with the newer natural gas furnace and water heater. Cable and high speed internet are available.

The original log cabin on this property is here for nostalgia reasons and could be rehabbed for a bunk house.

Recreation

Exceptional all sports boating, fishing and swimming.

The Tri Lakes are located in the Heart of the Lakes area of Central Michigan and consist of Round Lake, Lake Mecosta, and Blue Lake. The three lakes total 700 acres of spring fed water, and are all interconnected by scenic channels. Offering time for everyone on these special lakes is the No-wake boating hours from 7:30pm until 11:00am. A public boat launch located on the south east end of Lake Mecosta offers great boat launching for you and your guests.

Summer nights are perfect for bonfires and star gazing, and it is not uncommon to hear a loon’s beautiful call out on the lake. A natural habitat to loons, swans, great blue herons, eagles and osprey. The fishing is fantastic with an abundance of bass, northern pike, walleye and pan fish.

The Tri-Lakes Association was formed in 1978, and it is dedicated to protect and preserve the quality of the lakes, connecting waterways and the special quality of life of owning property here. Hosting several events as Youth Fishing Contest, Boat Parade and the July 4th Fireworks. The Links for Lakes Golf Outing funds the yearly walleye plantings in all 3 lakes.

The nationally-rated golf courses such as St. Ives, Tullymore and the Royal Canadian Golf Course are suited for every level of golfing skill from nearly professional to family outings located close by.

The Little Muskegon River is known for excellent brook and brown trout fishing and the River Access Park for launching your canoe or kayak is located on 7 Mile Road at the East Branch Bridge and offers a scenic 2 hour float down the river to Altona Park.

The White Pine Trail is ten miles away and offers hiking and bike riding to Reed City and back and is currently enjoyed regularly by local biking clubs. In the winter season the trail allows for snowmobiles to ride a hundred miles one way.

Winter activities are ice fishing, cross country snow skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling right from the cottage on the frozen lake.

Mecosta County experiences a range of weather conditions throughout the year, with an average annual temperature range from 12F in January to 83F in July. The area receives an average of 37 inches of annual precipitation and 59 inches of snowfall. Mecosta County, like much of Michigan, experiences all four distinct seasons.

The proximity to the Great Lakes moderates the climate, making it somewhat more temperate than other areas in the north-central states.
