Linneus Beaver Lane

This 167-acre tract is made up of an area considered significant wildlife & inland waterfowl habitat along Little Beaver Brook and its associated riparian zone as designated by the Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife. There is approximately 6,000' of frontage on Little Beaver Brook. Of the 167 acres, approximately 34 acres are wetland/swamp, as noted by the Forester who prepared the Forest Management Plan. Another significant feature is the cedar forest type that makes up the wildlife/waterfowl portion of the tract. Signs of moose and deer were very evident.

This lot has been commercially harvested in the last 20-24 years, leaving behind a thriving young forest of smaller diameter trees with scattered large mature trees. Based on the Forest Management Plan prepared in 2021, the next harvest is recommended in 12-17 years.
