Born and raised in Southwest Colorado, 5th generation native Thad Trujillo brings deep local roots and more than two decades of real estate experience to clients throughout the region. A graduate of Fort Lewis College, where he served as starting quarterback and team captain, Thad’s leadership background continues to shape his strategic, steady approach to guiding clients through complex real estate decisions.Thad began his career in land development, selling and developing 35-acre parcels, which laid the foundation for his long-standing expertise in ranch and rural properties. After a year playing professional football in England, he returned home and joined The Wells Group in 2000. Since then, Thad has represented buyers and sellers with their personal residences, commercial investments, ranches and land, offering full-service real estate guidance backed by deep market knowledge and long-term perspective.An avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting and fly fishing, Thad has a strong respect for the land and lifestyle that define Southwest Colorado. He is deeply committed to the community, having served on the Mercy Hospital Board, the Fort Lewis College Booster Board, and with the Colorado Mounted Rangers Search & Rescue.
