Pine Basin Ranch consists of approximately 642 +/- acres that range from approximately 7300-8200 feet. With an abundance of vegetation, an efficient source of water, and plenty of cover for wildlife, this is a hunter’s paradise! In regards to entrances, the ranch has seasonal access from a County Road to the top of the property, or walk-in access along the creek bottom. The land is comprised of over a half mile of creek bottom that rises into steep oak brush and pine filled mountainsides with thick timber pockets and benches that are home to many species of wildlife. Situated atop of the property is a small shed that provides remarkable panoramic views of many mountain ranges, valleys, and canyons off in the distance! This location would be the perfect spot for a hunting basecamp or even a seasonal getaway cabin!

Located in GMU 22 , the hunting opportunities on this ranch are second-to-none! Over-the-counter tags are available in multiple seasons for elk , whereas deer tags are draw only. Additionally, GMU 22 has over-the-counter spring and fall turkey tags available. The most appealing part is that this ranch has substantial numbers of elk, deer, and turkeys that reside within the perimeters of the property year-round! Additionally, the ranch borders thousands of acres of BLM lands that provide many more opportunities for hunting, hiking, ATV riding, or even just exploring the natural alpine beauty.

Location

The town of Meeker, CO provides gas stations, a grocery store, a hospital, and a couple restaurants and is located nearly 1 hour to the north of the ranch. The much bigger town of Rifle, CO is located just over an hour to the southeast of the subject property and offers many convenient stores with gas stations, dine-in restaurants, grocery stores, downtown businesses, a hospital, and numerous other recreational activities! Located approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to the southeast of the ranch, Glenwood Springs, CO offers much of the same as Rifle, but has additional amenities and activities such as the Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park and the Glenwood Hot Springs!

For air travel, the closest airports that provide commercial flights are Eagle County Regional Airport (located to the southeast between Gypsum, CO and Eagle, CO) and Grand Junction Regional Airport (located to the southwest in Grand Junction, CO), both of which are approximately 2 hours from the ranch. Another option for commercial flying is Yampa Valley Region Airport which is located approximately 2 hours and 15 minutes to the northeast in Hayden, CO.
