Of the total 11,475+/- acres, approximately 10,200 acres are grassland pasture, and about 1,275 acres are irrigated by eight center pivot systems supplied by eight irrigation wells. All irrigation wells are permitted for 30 or more inches of water annually, and engineering reports indicate the aquifer is capable of supporting those allocations.
