During my latest visit to the property, I jumped at least a half dozen deer, including two mature looking bucks in the early stages of velvet antler development. I even managed to find a matching set of shed antlers! This property also offers great turkey hunting opportunities.
The 139+/- acres of CRP offers a yearly payment of $3,338 that expires in September of 2026 and provides great habitat for bobwhite quail. I also heard a rooster pheasant cackling in the thigh high vegetation.
