A place I call an urban oasis. 45.8 acres of woods, farmland, and thick wildlife bedding cover located about 2 miles out of Lapeer. Paved / gravel road access, power, and within a couple miles of city amenities. Yep youre going to see houses, have neighbors, and hear lawnmowers in the summer. But the wildlife dont seem to mind. Plenty of deer, turkeys, small game , and waterfowl using the property. There were a couple very nice deer taken from this property this fall.

The woods are a combination of oaks, maples, poplars, and some beech. Farm ground is currently planted to hay and clover. Easy trail access around the acreage. There is a creek crossing the parcel that provides a water source for the wildlife. That creek is attached to Roods Lake, which is a seasonal home to a whole lot of ducks and geese.
