Owner Comment: This house was built with the Western Era of an old log cabin, Square logs with 2-inch chink groove to match the rustic decor. 360-degree views, which include Spanish Peaks, Fishers Peak, and the Sangre De Cristo Mountain Range. Included are the beautiful 35 acres (which has given us so much joy), and approximately 20 of those acres are well maintained for hiking, camping and picnicking; has two roads tha are well kept and maintained for access to the bottom of the canyon for hunting purposes as well as fire mitigation. Abundance of wildlife including deer, elk and turkey. We built the home in 2007, the house is 1997 SQ FT, 3 bedrooms 2.5 bathrooms (designed with the environment of qualilty)Wrap around deck on 3 sides, s sides fully covered. The interior is a very rustic decor with a western flare. A 5ft. tall crawl space that is about 1500 sq ft for storage and easy access to all plumbing, fully concreted and electrical. The barn includes a 2500 SQ FT garage wit a 1150 SQ FT loft which can be used as living quarters or an office space. Also has a lean to shed for added trailer space. An RV shed that is fully covered on three sides. We currently have our 24 ft RV that fits comfortably. An additional woodshed with a tin roof that is used to house our yard tools. The house has brand new LG appliances and newly installed 16 KW Generac stand by generator. Heatin in house is randiant floor heat and along with a hearthstone wood burning stove, that is serviced annually. Windows are Eagle double pane with wood interior and metal exterior and are placed where every inch of the 360-degree views can be seen!
