Beaver River Grassland

Beaver River Grassland is a 480-acre contiguous ranch in Texas County, Oklahoma, just north of Texhoma and the Texas state line. The Beaver River crosses the ranch, adding grazing value, wildlife habitat, and the natural character of the Oklahoma Panhandle.

The area receives approximately 20 inches of rainfall each year. River flow is intermittent and depends on weather and rainfall. The ranch has quality native grasses, including buffalo grass and blue grama. Sand plum thickets are scattered throughout the property. Mature cottonwoods and American elms provide additional cover. Together, these features support both grazing and wildlife habitat.
