Vacant Land - Promise City, IA

This is a nice 108.86 taxable acre farm that just came out of CRP and has an open lease for 2026 crop year. The CRP was well taken care of so no little cedar trees all over the place, which will make it much easier to prep the farm for crops. NRCS estimates there will be 98.48 tillable acres that will be continuous corn/bean no-till with Anhydrous. A total CSR of 44.4 on the whole farm, the South 79 acres comes in at a 47.1 CSR. An old homestead was surveyed off on the NW corner of the farm that measures 9.14 taxable acres. There are some draws with some trees and a nice pond measuring about 1.13 acres. Mostly it is an open farm from level to gently rolling to rolling. There have been some paths mowed for easy viewing. The farm is located North of Promise City, South Fork Township sections 3&4. There is not a lot on the market right now as this farm will make a nice tract for someone.
