Willberns Glen Springs Ranch (WGSR) 809 +/- Acres

Outstanding opportunity to own part of the historic Willberns Glen Springs Ranch (WGSR). Willberns Glen was described by author Roy Willbern in his book The Old Man of the Glen as a lush spring-fed woodland area in northeast Llano County comprised of a series of pools, falls and formations created primarily by the clear cold waters of Spicewood Spring. This large spring boils from the ground at the summit of a hilla few miles east of Babyhead Mountain some 12 miles from Llano. This primary spring is supplemented by numerous others as the waterway courses through rugged terrain down a steep side of the predominantly limestone hill. The flow of water has over countless years formed a stairway of pools and formations as the crystal steam falls from one level to a lower one before it finally flows into the Little Llano River near the base of the hill.
