The Williston Breeder Farm is a four house breeder poultry operation that features four 40 x 500 houses; two built in 2012 and two built in 2014. They are equipped with GainTrac controllers, nipple drinkers, Valco nest boxes, hen chain feeders and Roxell rooster pans. There are two wells and a 150 KW Baldor generator with a John Deere diesel engine. The farm also has a 1200 sq ft air conditioned packing room equipped with a Prinzen automatic egg packer, a 25 x 25 cooler room, a separate cart storage room, an office/break room and a bathroom with a shower. All four houses are connected by an enclosed work area that is 12 ft x 310 ft; with a cooling fan at one end and a cool cell at the other keeping the work area very comfortable. The farm is currently contracted with Amick Farms. Located only 5 miles from Williston, where there are several restaurant options, a very nice school system, and other great amenities. Its 5 miles from Springfield, 12 miles from Barnwell and 30 miles from downtown Aiken.
