Yocum property

780.84 acres of deeded land in Yocum Valley, approximately 30 miles SW of Lakeview, OR. The elevation is approximately 5300 feet. There is native meadow with a year round spring that runs through the middle of the property. There is some timber, and Lake County records shows they classify about 190 acres as 'timbered'. The property is perimeter fenced except for the 80 acre parcel to the east, with some other deeded fenced in. There is a Forest Service allotment that goes with the property. The allotment has three fields, and one joins the deeded. The 80 acres is in the allotment. The allotment is for 128 pairs from July 1 to September 18. Owner states they can summer 150 pairs. They go into the deeded around June 1, and stay as late as they can in the fall, usually 5 to 6 months. The permit has a tremendous amount of feed and is well watered.
