Yolo Farm

All production leveled irrigated farmland containing premium Class 1 silty loam soils. The land is enrolled in the Williamson Act program for low property taxes and is zoned A-N (Ag Intensive) which allows for many ag related land uses, including rural residential uses. This block was a part of a larger unit that had the source of irrigation water but no rights to that well convey with this property, so a new well needs to be developed. Currently the land is cultivated with a tenant farmer that is also leasing the land with the well so it can still be managed as irrigated row crop in the interim but that well really is not sufficient to irrigate the whole 160+/- acres anyway. Thus needs new well for more intensive farming demands. Historic production has centered around processing tomatoes but is quite diversified including vine seeds, sunflowers, peppers and winter grains.
