Welcome to Bluestone Quarries. If you know anything about the granite business, then you know that a granite quarry is a rare find, and this one is located in the heart of Elberton! Not long along, Bluetone Quarries was an active quarry that worked with demential and aggregate stone. With plenty of rock still to be mined, it's honestly hard to say how much money was left on the table. Even if left unmined, this quarry should have enough value under the ground to be a good candidate for a granite easement. Why don't the current owners just do these things? The granite business is what they know, and what they've done for many years, but it's a tough business, and they are ready to hand over the keys to someone else.
