The “Earl Cardot Eastside Overland Trail” system goes through the Tarbox property, providing a wonderful hiking trail during the Spring through Fall and cross-country ski trail in the winter. The trail leads to the Canadaway Creek. The Canadaway flows through the east side of this property for more than 1,200 feet. The State stocks both brown trout and brook trout in this stream on the State-owned Canadaway Creek Wildlife Management Area just south of here.
Just north of this property is the popular “Arkwright Falls” which is a favorite summertime hike along the creek to this popular falls and swimming hole.
