The Eagles Summit Ranch was designed and constructed to serve our nation’s veterans for life after service. With 19 improved structures the ranch provides over 20 beds, a chapel, gym, pavilion and other amenities for retreats. The ranch has 224+/- acres under high-fence for hunting axis, blackbuck and white-tailed deer along with multiple roads and trails for recreation. Three ponds provide waterings for the wildlife with the main pond supplemented by one of the four water wells. The ranch is ready to prolong its current mission, provide a setting for a new mission, or family or corporate retreat.
LOCATION
The Eagles Summit Ranch fronts on SD 28500 off US Hwy 83 just north of the famous Garven Store. The ranch is less than 30 minutes from Junction, one hour from Kerrville and one hour and 45 minutes from San Antonio.

The Eagles Summit Ranch has over 131 ft. of topographical relief with the highest elevation being 2,311 ft. above sea level. The grounds and trees around the improvements are manicured. There is one draw on the ranch that provides water to fill the three ponds and offers scenic trails for hiking and wildlife viewing. Native trees of the Guadalupe River valley include live oak, Spanish Oak, shin oak, Lacey Oak, cypress, sycamore, pecan, cherry, redbud, walnut, cedar elm, willow, persimmon and ashe juniper. Many of these species are found on the ranch along with a variety of brush species, succulents and grasses providing excellent habitat diversity. Strategic juniper management has been in place on the ranch for years in several areas. The juniper management program has improved the overall habitat/range conditions and views.
WILDLIFE
The Eagles Summit Ranch is predominantly high-fenced with herds of axis, blackbuck and white-tailed deer. The ranch also hosts Rio Grande turkey, hogs, dove and varmints.
