Access to the property is via gated timber company road off Dallas County Road #209. This timber road is gated. The gate is usually open but if locked the combination is 4-3-2-1. The tract has 104 acres of excellent loblolly pine plantation that was planted in 2008 and is ready for a first thinning. The other 16 acres consist of mixed hardwood located along upland creek drainages. The topography is well-drained rolling hills that according to the USDA NRCS web soil survey, consist of an assortment of mostly sandy loam soils that give the property a weighted average soil site index of 81.9 feet for loblolly pine (base age 50 years).
