TOPOGRAPHY, RANGELAND & HABITAT

LHK East consists of large Oak Trees that provide shade and cover near the house on the property as well as tall native grasses that grow near the large ponds found on the ranch. The property includes a variety of elevation changes from hilltop views that offer an excellent view of the ranch to low points near Hord Creek. The property consists of large brushy areas that provide plenty of cover for the Black Buck, Oryx, and Axis that live there but also contain well-manicured shooting alleys that converge on all 4 sides meeting at the feeders/blinds.

WILDLIFE

The ranch has an abundance of Black Buck, Oryx & Axis that can be found with ease on the property whether driving down the well-maintained shooting alleys or sitting in the numerous stand blinds that overlook the property. There are many feeders located around the property that offer an exceptional opportunity to hunt exotic animals from the blind. LHK East also boasts exceptional quality ponds that come equipped with fish feeders and docks and are stocked with Largemouth bass.

IMPROVEMENTS

Entering through the main electric gate located off FM 2442 there is a gravel road that will lead you just over 1 mile until reaching the high fenced electric gate. Once through there, the main road will lead you past a few shooting alleys before reaching a beautiful pond on your left. Once past, you will arrive at the storage barn that has 3 overhead roll-up garage doors with plenty of room to work on vehicles and equipment as well as a covered patio. Inside that storage barn, there is a back room filled with bunk beds and a small kitchen that can be used for extra guests not staying in the main house.

Following the main road will lead you across Hord Creek and to the main house on the property. A beautiful 4 bed/3.5 bath house with a cooks kitchen that includes an island, a dining room, and a living room. There are 4 total bedrooms, one master, two bedrooms each outfitted with a queen-sized bed, and a bunk room with 6 full-size beds in a bunk layout. There is a small covered front porch as well as a beautiful back patio that looks out onto the pond next to the house.
