The ranch has been thoughtfully managed to create exceptional wildlife habitat with dependable water, healthy forage, thick bedding cover, and open meadows. Colorado Parks and Wildlife has designated portions of the ranch as critical calving grounds, highlighting the property’s importance for sustaining healthy elk populations. In addition to outstanding elk hunting, the ranch is home to mule deer, black bear, mountain lions, bobcats, grouse, ducks, sandhill cranes, and numerous other bird species that frequently use the property throughout the year.
Beautiful Landscape & Exceptional Water
The landscape is classic Colorado. Rolling hills covered in aspen groves and oak brush give way to open meadows and lush creek bottoms. In the fall, the ranch comes alive as the aspens turn brilliant gold and the oak brush changes to shades of orange and red, creating some of the most beautiful scenery Colorado has to offer.
Water is one of the ranch’s greatest strengths. Nine developed springs, over 5 miles of buried water pipeline system feeding livestock tanks, and ponds provide reliable water across the ranch.
