The Toro Creek Ranch features minimal building improvements but does feature a water well and electricity. Numerous roads are located throughout the property and many are situated for good hunting senderos.

Water:

Water is provided by a water well in the camp area. Water in this area is usually good and not extremely deep. Toro Creek meanders through the middle of the ranch providing seasonal water for both wildlife and livestock.

Wildlife:

Wildlife in this area consist of White-Tailed Deer, Rio Grande Turkey, Javelina, and Feral Hogs. The bird hunting in this area can also be excellent as well. With some field work the quail hunting could also be very good as well.

Habitat:

The habitat consist of heavy native South Texas brush on the North and South portion of the ranch and mature trees along the Toro Creek area. Mesquite, Blackbrush, Granjeno, Guajillo and a diverse array of brush make up most of the vegetation on the property. The brush on this ranch is extremely heavy and is known to provide for great hunting!

Topography:

This ranch has great topography and features about 30 feet of elevation change throughout. The Toro Creek area features some flood plain, ideal for creating diverse habitat in the brush country. The camp area is located on the Eastern side of the property close to the access road in.
