TOPOGRAPHY, RANGELAND & HABITAT

The Whitehall Ranch is a terrific mixture of open rangelands and oak and pecan-filled bottoms. Soils are a mixture of sandy and clay loams to add to the diversity. Several areas are thick old-growth forests, and with over 100 of elevation changes, the views are astounding.

WILDLIFE

The Whitehall Ranch has evolved into a true wildlife oasis, featuring an exceptional mix of creek bottoms, hardwood stands, and open fields. This diverse habitat supports strong populations of deer, turkey, dove, and other native wildlife. The ranchs wetland pond and large lake provide excellent habitat for ducks and other migratory bird species throughout the year. In addition to its outstanding hunting opportunities, the main lake offers exceptional bass fishing and is carefully managed to produce trophy-class fish.

AGRICULTURE

The ranch features expansive hay meadows and well-maintained coastal fields that provide excellent potential for both equestrian use and agricultural operations. In addition to the main fishing lake, the property includes another pond and a large shallow lake managed as a productive wetland duck habitat. AREA HISTORY

The Grimes County area is in the growing triangle between College Station, Austin, and Houston. This area in particular has great growth potential with the newly emplaced Aggie Freeway being only one mile away.
