Fronting on two different county roads (CR 7 and CR 9/1) for a quarter mile on each road. The property was logged in the early 2000s' with a followup treatment approximately 10 years ago to release young growth established during the early 2000s logging. Ruffed, grouse deer and American woodcock frequent the highest elevation portions of the property along CR 9/1 The property is densely forested with a cover of young trees of several commercially desirable species including poplar, oak and maple. ATV access into and through the property is very good by way of a professionally-engineered trail system established during the first harvest. Hunters previously leasing the property maintained many trails in a passable condition. The entire northern boundary of the property abuts Monongahela National Forest.

Research Parcel InformationRandolph County, WV Five miles east of Elkins the 4 lane portion of highway US 48 (Corridor H) ends near the unincorporated settlement of Kerens. Immediately after exiting the four lane Clifton Run Road (Randolph County Route 7) intersects with US 48 in the right. Driving eastbound from Elkins, DO NOT go through the underpass! Turn right and follow recently-repaved CR 7. In almost exactly two miles the pavement ends. Continue up the mountain for one mile. At the top of the mountain there's an intersection with Clifton Run (CR 7) and Timbucktoo Road (CR 9/1). The ridgetop portion of the property's road frontage begins 6/10 mile from the intersection. Identified by red and blue painted rocks and a large level opening on the left there's a "For Sale" sign posted. The property boundary follows the straight and nearly level County road for a quarter mile before the leaving the road and rising towards the corner that marks the highest elevation portion of the property.
The other frontage begins approximately 6/10 mile east of the ridgetop intersection. Identified by recently painted in RED National Forest boundaries. The property follows CR 7 for a quarter mile. About midway on the frontage a wide, gently sloping road established during the early 2000s logging intersects on the right. The property frontage on Clifton Run ends a few hundred feet below the opening. Contrary to the tax maps the property does NOT extend across Clifton Run Road (CR7.)
